When we got the M-Edge Hip Bag, we were excited to receive our first ever iPad bag to be reviewed in-depth. It looks like a modern, trendy bag which you can slip in your iPad easily and just go wherever you want.

Best Use

The M-Edge Hip Bag is best used for people who travel frequently and likes a quick bag they can simply carry and be on-the-go.

Features

The M-Edge Hip Bag is a very hip, compact messenger-style bag from M-Edge, a Maryland-based company, makers of different accessories for Apple’s iPad. It secures your iPad very snugly on the inside with a microfiber interior. On the outside, it has two extra pockets for extra accessories and it is treated with ScotchGuard to keep away dirt and other unwanted stuff.

The bag has a zippered lock which makes sure your iPad doesn’t slip out accidentally and the shoulder straps are placed strategically on opposite sides.

Material

Made from light canvas, Hip Bag’s exterior, as mentioned above, is treated with ScotchGuard to protect from liquids and stains while the interior is built from microfiber which cleans the display while iPad is inside the bag.

Pricing

Valued at $39.99, M-Edge Hip Bag is very affordable for consumers and you can justify the price for a quick, easy-to-go iPad case.

Verdict

M-Edge Hip Bag offers a decent protection for your iPad with its leather spine and secured zip lock. It is a lightweight bag best for outgoing people who wants to carry their iPad effortlessly without giving up their fashion sense.

There are a couple of drawbacks we see. First, it is a bit edgy on the top corners of the case and could probably use a little tweaking. Lastly, Hip Bag is so snug fit that you get anxious about the zipper hitting your iPad .

You can sneak a naked iPad easily in M-Edge Hip Bag but with a case or sleeve, it will probably be so tight. Suggest you just slip your iPad au naturale with a screen protector and you are all set and ready to go.

We give M-Edge Hip Bag a good rating, 4 out of 5 stars!
